Colne Valley Lodge has received a heartfelt thank you from the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) following a recent donation of £419.50 raised through the Lodge’s fundraising efforts.
DSAuk works to provide life-changing sporting opportunities for people with dwarfism and their families, organising regional and national events that help participants build confidence, take part in sport, and connect with others. As a charity, DSAuk relies almost entirely on donations and fundraising to continue this work.
Writing on behalf of the trustees, Tim Shephard, Association Manager at DSAuk, said:
“Without donations like yours it would be impossible to function as a charity, every single pound makes a huge difference to our members. Fundraising is increasingly difficult and donations like yours are more important than ever.”
