Colne Valley Lodge is proud to support charitable causes within our community and beyond, and we are delighted to share recognition recently received from the Pink Ribbon Foundation following our latest fundraising event.
In a letter dated 26 February 2026, the Foundation expressed their sincere thanks for the £1,620 raised by Colne Valley Lodge at our annual Ladies Night held at Bertie’s Bistro in Elland. The evening included a raffle and auction, with proceeds generously donated to support the charity’s work helping those affected by breast cancer across the UK.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust that provides financial support to UK charities working in breast cancer care, research, early detection and patient support. Many of the organisations they fund are smaller charities operating with limited resources, making fundraising efforts like ours especially valuable.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, contributed and helped organise the evening, with special recognition to our Master of the Lodge, Adrian Plowman, and his wife for selecting the Pink Ribbon Foundation as this year’s chosen charity.
Colne Valley Lodge remains committed to supporting meaningful causes, and we look forward to continuing our charitable work with the same spirit of generosity in future events.
