Colne Valley Lodge No. 1645 held its annual Christmas dinner yesterday at the Grapollo Restaurant in Huddersfield, kindly hosted by W Bro. Mike Gibbins. The event proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable and festive occasion for all involved.
More than 80 guests attended the celebration and were treated to a traditional Christmas lunch, which was widely praised for its quality and enjoyed by everyone present. The afternoon was made especially memorable for younger guests with a visit from Father Christmas, who delighted children by presenting them with gifts.
Musical entertainment was provided by the Golcar Brass Band, who performed a selection of well-known Christmas favourites, encouraging diners to join in and adding to the warm seasonal atmosphere.
The event also raised £400 through a raffle, with all proceeds being donated to the Rob Burrow Centre in Leeds, supporting its important work.
The Christmas dinner was widely regarded as a great success, bringing together members, families, and friends to celebrate the festive season while also supporting a worthy cause.
